Brand standards created for City of Lincoln provides detailed guidance for 20 city departments.

After creating the logo and visual identity system for the City of Lincoln government, the most complex task lay ahead: creating a comprehensive brand standards guide that would provide detailed, specific guidance for 20 city departments, countless city employees and multiple uses and applications. The final product, which clocked in at 174 pages, lays out the complete brand system, including the color system that identifies each department, the typography system, symbol uses, cross-department branding, and application examples for vehicles, signage, clothing, collateral, badges, and more.  A guide of this magnitude required careful planning and design to ensure that, despite the complexity and size of the city government, the system itself was simple and intuitive to execute.
