On October 26, Electra made aviation history when its EL2 hybrid-electric aircraft landed at the Downtown Skyport heliport in Lower Manhattan — the first fixed-wing aircraft without vertical takeoff capability ever to do so. The campaign showcases Electra’s revolutionary Ultra Short technology, which enables aircraft to take off and land in as little as 150 feet.
